My highlights from 2015
My year personally has been one filled with growth , reflection and adventure! The biggest adventure being a three-month trip traipsing around Iceland, The Netherlands, Italy, Austria, Hungary, Slovakia and The Czech Republic. The highlight being spending one fabulous month alongside two amazing women who run Green Zebra cooking school in Gleisdorf Austria. I learned so much about sustainability, eating local and organic , and how to cook some Austrian classic dishes.
Food tours where some of my favorite activities (shocking I know!) – if you haven’t experienced a food tour I highly recommend! It’s one part history of the city and the other part a whole lot of sampling of traditional foods. Usually the tours are led by locals who are in the know about where to go for an authentic experience. No touristy stuff – which I totally appreciate. You get off the beaten path and experience the foods locals eat.
I’m not sure where 2016 will take me (yet!) , but I’m quite sure there will be more travel and more food tours!
