Honey Cinnamon Breakfast Quinoa

Ingredients
¼
cup
low-fat milk
¼
cup
water
¼
cup
quinoa
rinsed
½
cup
blackberries
½
cup
peaches
diced
⅛
teaspoon
cinnamon
1
teaspoon
honey
or agave
1
tablespoon
pecans
or your favorite nuts, like almonds or walnuts
sliced fresh fruit for topping
i used grapes, strawberries, blackberries, & peaches
Instructions
Bring milk, water and quinoa to a boil. Reduce heat, cover and simmer for 15 min. until all liquid is absorbed and quinoa is soft and translucent.
Let cool 5 min. Stir in blackberries, peaches, cinnamon and honey.
Serve in individual bowls and top with additional fresh fruit and pecans.
You may want to drizzle a little extra honey on top for some additional sweetness.
